The Princess Pyxzee

I just realized that some of you may not know my biggest helper: (aside from my DH Don) PYXZEE! She is a pocket Pomeranian that joined out family a year and a half ago. She loves to sit in my lap while i craft or organize or in her sling while i sew. She is very opinionated and helpful. She is my model for my furbaby slings when we do craft shows. She is very patient while i try stuff on her to get the fit right and such. I haven't ever seen a dog (shhhhh, dont tell her i called her that) that will let you wallow her around and do half the stuff we put her through. She owns 4 kitties and coralls them regularly. You will see that part of our family in later posts i am sure. Istarted sewing for furbabies because of her. I had made her several things and had other owners request similar items for their babies so that is how i got started.

So as always, "she who dies with the most yarn and fabric wins!" Happy Crafting!

My Kitchen Kitty

I had to include my most FAVORITE part of my "finds" this black kitty kitchen twine holder complete with blade cutter at the top of her head. Seeing as how i recently lost Phoebe and then found a new baby Pheobes who are black kitties. AND my kitchen is red, black and white thought she would fit in just right. Now my bestie Ruth asked "WHY in the world would you need a kitchen twine holder anyway????" I laughed at her. If you are new to StefiWorld there is something you must know. I LOVE to cook, so i use twine to truss poultry, tie up Roulades, tie up spice bundles and sachets. LOL. She is my kitchen kitty angel and she has a prime spot above my sink overseeing EVERYTHING i do in there. making sure everything is tasty yummy and wonderful in StefiWorld.

So as always she who dies with the most yarn and fabric wins! Happy Crafting!

OK,
I have been bargain shopping and have been inspired...... I found lots of goodies, including yarn, fabric, crochet needles and knitting needles and oodles and gobs of goodies. :) One of my finds included a bag of yarn complete with a crochet how to book and two baby blanket starts. It always makes me wonder what happen to the previous owners of my finds. It would be cool to know a little history behind the partial projects. My mom and sisters are always saying they got too tired of and or busy to finish them. That is my hope. My yarn find was very elderly some of which i have never even seen the brand on. lol. Most of one skein of a color (not many matches except the baby blanket stuff) I think it would be neat to do a throw or a scarf utilizing each. My bestie Ruth calls this a "Stash Buster" lol. I also found a gallon bag of "crewel work yarns" it doesn't look any different just smaller skeins. Some neat colors very "RETRO" but if u know me at all i love retro. so I think i may have to practice my crocheting skills and finish at least one of the baby blankets, just in the spirit of why it was started. IDK we shall see. I have got to get my act together and get back crafting. since i broke my toe last month i have fallen down on my job. So i shall start digging out my work table and floor. Yes i know i just did that two weeks ago but the recent folly into finding goodies as buried it once again. (story of my life as a packrat) I did get my niece Abbie's baby carrier done last week so i am off to a good start. I am gonna keep myself on track! I hope to get my etsy store up and running next week, I am a procrastinator at heart so hence the delay. ;0 I will leave U with a few pics of my latest finds! The kitty is Junebug he is NOT a RECENT find he just likes to get in ANY box, tub or blanket you leave down he is in one of my emptied bargain find tubs. (I sometimes call him junior so don't get confused, that will be a later story as to why i do that)

And as always,
She who dies with the most yarn and fabric wins! Happy Crafting!
